Lotus Rising - One of a Kind Exquisite Flowers For Your Ears - Vintage Elements

Those of you who love purple and green together should love these. And they are the only pair of their kind, at this point, because I cannot find any more of these gorgeous fire-polished beads!

Vintage brass lotus blossom bead caps embrace the most beautiful fire-polished glass beads I've ever seen. And they are the biggest, too. Mottled shades of purple and violet swim inside a big, fat faceted rondelle that has a coating of purple-y bronze fire-polished here and there on the outside. They are simply stunning -- and large at about 15 x 11mm. Above are antiqued copper bead caps, and below, light spring green Czech glass flower bead caps.

They dangle from large brass kidney wires that are festooned, as I am wont to do, with large iridescent purple seed beads (you'll get a few extra with your order, just in case you lose one). They are a bit weighty in the sense that you can feel them swinging on your ears, but not overly heavy.

Your jewelry will arrive in a glossy black box with an Adorn Me jewelry label outside and a folded burgundy-colored note inside, written in silver metallic ink on nice card stock. If your purchase is a gift for someone, you can send us a Conversation and tell us what you would like hand-written on the card. This is then boxed and wrapped up in a sparkly silver ribbon, all ready for gift-giving! If you prefer we can leave the ribbon untied, so you can peek inside to see the gift you're giving and then tie the ribbon yourself, just message us with the info.

You can see more, and larger, photos of these earrings by going to Adorn Me jewelry's store at Etsy.

Vintage Brass Calla Lillies

These simple yet elegantly beautiful vintage brass calla lily findings meld perfectly with the Czech glass lily beads also found in the post below. Here, not only do the colors glow all on their own, but light from them refract and reflect off of the brass lilies. Within each glass lily is a small, similarly-colored Czech glass flower; within that, a clear, tiny little 3mm AB Swarovski crystal. They are held together with brass ball-end head pins and are on brass lever back ear wires, and designed to face forward and not hang down.

They are elegant, glowing bits of vintage beauty, and a steal at $19.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. You can purchase them by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Surreal Garden

When it comes to color, these earrings have it all. They are made using the same design as our Bluebells earrings, but the Czech glass flowers are of a different style and colors.

These use the same large brass kidney ear wires, the same brass head pins, but these glass lily beads have a different sort of a look. Their color is hard to define, and it totally depends upon the light, and whether they're back-lit or not. In any case, they are definitely luminescent. You'll find red, green, blue, purple, pink, gold -- most colors of the spectrum -- in there. Because of that, they will compliment pretty much any outfit. They are finished off with sparkly little 4mm violet Swarovski crystals.

These glowing, iridescent earrings are 2" in length and fetch $16.50, plus a reasonable shipping fee, and can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Art Nouveau Tulips with Cobalt Glass Flowers

These brass Art Nouveau tulips have been a very popular item, and I've been wanting to incorporate one of my favorite colors into a pair of tulip earrings, so here they are.

These earrings pair cobalt Czech glass bell flowers with deep blue baby bell flowers, and are finished at the end with small bronze Czech glass fire-polished a lovely gold. All of the findings are brass, and they come with lever back earrings, though they could also be put on brass hoops or large kidney wires, if you like. They look like they'd be heavy, but they're not, and they make a tinkling noise, so if you like that, they're for you. If not, they're not.

They are 3 1/8" long, and sell for $27.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Mini Pumpkins

These two pair of earrings, designed and crafted by James, are just alike, except for one element: on one pair the swarovski crystal bead separators have pink AB crystals, and on the other pair they are blue AB crystals. First the blue.

They hang from large, brass kidney wires (the wires themselves are 1 1/4") and are hanging on brass ball headpins.

Top and bottom they have 3mm AB clear swarovski bicone crystals, then from the top are 6mm light pink swarovski pearls, then the bead separators, and then the faceted pumpkin Czech glass rondelle beads. As you can see, these beads have lovely striations in varying shades of orange, yellow and clear. The tops and bottoms of the beads have a picasso treatment, which you can see has a rainbow of colors, and gives the lovely appearance of age.

The total length of these earrings, including ear wires are 2 1/4". The pink earrings are the same length as the blue.

Each pair sells for $15.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form located at www.adornmejewelry.net.

More Gifts of Love, in brass

These earrings use lovely little brass swallows like the previous pair -- the same size, etc -- only these are antiqued brass, rather than silver plated. They hang from brass lever back ear wires, and brass wire and headpins hold them together. The pearls are freshwater coin pearls, only in a peachy champagne color that interacts beautifully with the brass.
This graceful pair are just over 2 1/8" long, including the ear wires, and they sell for $25.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Blooms and Leaves

Flowers are a theme that has been looming large lately at Adorn Me, and this is one more pair. They are not elegant, and are not little-black-dress material, but they are fun and pretty.

Large brass kidney ear wires hold these light burnt orange acrylic flowers, topped by golden Czech beads. Below the flowers dangle bi-color Czech glass leaves held in place with nice little brass head pins. Topping this all off are a couple of matching Czech seed beads strung on the ear wires. They are almost 3" in length, including the ear wires, and are shown, for scale, with a quarter.

These hand-crafted earrings can, and will, be made in a variety of colors, which from the left are deep aqua, light aqua, light burnt orange, light olive green and pale yellow. They will all have complimentary leaves and Czech glass seed beads.

These pretty, playful earrings fetch $14.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee, If you are interested in this pair of earrings, or a pair in any of the variety of colors, you can drop me a line by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Custom Designs - Art Nouveau Tulips

The tulips are popular. We have received several special orders for them, and they are fun to make. They all sell for $26.50.

The first pair is different from the others in that the ends dangle, and also, they are antiqued silver over brass, and have sterling silver ear wires and wires at the end.

They include iridescent silvery fresh water potato pearls, tanzanite swarovski crystals, frosted grape Czech glass and pretty little minty rice-shaped Czech glass partially coated with vitriol. They are a total of 3" long, including ear wires. Oh, and you should know, all of the tulip earrings have a lovely tinkling sound when they move. If you love that, these are for you. If you hate it, we have many other designs.

The rest of the photos are just to show some of the possible options.

Iridescent brassy fresh water potato pearls and AB swarovski crystals.

Spring colors in bloom. This pair have strawberry baby bell flowers with aqua swarovskis and some more of those little minty vitriol-encrusted Czech glass beads. On hoops.

Custom Design - Olivia's Autumn Friend

Olivia Octopus has been a very busy girl, so she's having friends lend a hand. Silliness, I know. Seriously, though, Olivia is very popular.

A client ordered an Olivia, but wanted some green in there to give more of an Autumnal feel, so, I have made the original Olivia, but also added some butter jade chunks and red Quartz chunks to the gems she holds in one of her arms. The accent up on the chain now has, instead of garned and a large freshwater pearl, the addition of a chunk of butter jade as well, swinging from a large jump ring.

So, to recap, for those who have not seen the original Olivia, we have an aged brass octopus with an arm dripping with red quartz, celestial larimar, butter jade, a large white freshwater pearl, garnet, copper Czech seed beads and a siam-colored faceted swarovski crystal briolette. The necklace itself comes in a about 24". Obviously, this one is sold, but I put it here to show what is possible. You can have your own Olivia -- I have her in aged brass, antiqued brass, antiqued silver over brass and a brass with a verdigris patina. You want certain gems or just certain colors, it's all possible. Just contact us and we'll make it happen.

Art Nouveau Tulip Earrings

Another bit of brass that's been hanging around waiting for attention.

The lines of these tulips is sensual and intricate, evoking the Art Nouveau period of art and design -- a favorite.

The pilstils in these are made from delicate copper wire, and they hold tanzanite swarovskis, lavender milk swarovskis, little baby bell strawberry milk flowers and copper beads. They hang on hoops, and are 3 3/4" from stem to stern (the tulips themselves are about an inch long), but we also offer the option of having them on brass leverbacks, or long brass kidney wires. We also have some tulips that are a bit darker and in silvertone, too. They sell for $26.50

This pair is sold, but there's plenty more, so if you'd like a pair just
contact us and we'll make it happen.

Gem-laden Mermaids

These brass mermaids hold a cache of lovely gems.

The mermaids themselves are about 1 1/2 inches tall, with their trove of goodies, about 2 1/8 inches from the top of her head to the bottoms of the juicy cherry quartz briolettes.

These have been in the Adorn Me inventory for a while, looking for a cluster of gems, and after receiving these cherry quartz rondelles and briolettes, they seemed like a natural match. It's all about the pinky-coral-salmon colors here, and boy, is there plenty of it.

Each mermaid holds a 10mm round of pinkish coral, a 10mm cherry quartz rondelle, a 14mm cherry quartz briolette, a white freshwater pearl, a salmon freshwater pearl, rose quartz, golden shadow swarovski crystals, moonstone chips, moonstone nuggets, salmon-colored glass Czech beads, copper Czech seed beads -- gathered together with copper wire, and all offset with a little pale aqua celestial larimar. They hang from two leverback brass ear wires, festooned with a couple more glass Czech beads.

These unique earrings will definitely garner remarks, and one thing we strives for is that even if you do happen to see someone wearing an octopus necklace, she won't be an opulent Oliva; even if you do see someone with a pair of mermaid earrings, they won't be an Adorn Me design, loaded with juicy gems. $38.00.

Demure Dragonfly

She's a bit demure, but she carries a tail full of jewels and has a sweet little smiling face, too.

This necklace made from a vintage mold has a graceful pose with a 2 1/4 inch wing span. From her gracefully curved tail she trails, from left to right: a moonstone tooth, held aloft by a copper headpin with a rosy head. Next to that is a gorgeous and hard to find purple moonstone with lovely blue fire (it's very difficult to photograph the fire, but you can see it in the photo to the right), a white freshwater pearl, copper Czech glass seed beads, and a beautiful simplicity cut 6mm golden shadow swarovski (it has beautiful little flicks and striations of gold inside) crystal holding up another moonstone tooth that's finished off with another rosey copper headpin. The longest drop (1 5/8") is made from a helix-cut 8mm purple velvet swarovski, a large iridescent purple and two small copper, Czech beads, supporting a little brass orchid. Lastly is simply a iridescent mauve freshwater potato pearl and a little copper Czech bead. All of these are wrapped with copper wire.

Up the necklace, on the opposite side of her treasures, is another puple moonstone, another pearl, and a danglie supporting a 4mm tanzanite swarovski crystal and a 7mm labradorite briolette. You can see its blue fire in the photo. It's a beautiful little stone. Some truly stunning lovelies are in this necklace: moonstone (and purple, no less!), labradorite, pearls and crystals. Can't go wrong with those.

While I can reproduce this necklace, in some ways it's a one-of-a-kind in that these stones vary and no two are exactly alike. I would venture a guess that you'll not see anyone else selling one just like it -- unless they copy Adorn Me's design, of course ;).

The last photo is horrid, but it gives you an idea of how the necklace is designed and how it lays.

The necklace has 23" of antiqued brass chain for a total length of 26 1/2". This can be sized up or down, according to your needs, and it closes with a lobster claw clasp. It's ready for a home at $37.00
