Etched Jet Romantic, kind of Goth Earrings

Fantastic darkly elegant holiday earrings! These lightweight vintage-look teardrop acrylic beads have the look of black lace when lit. They seem to have been painted black and then etched for almost an etched crystal look. They have a fantastic kind of depth to them that these photos just don't represent properly (one of the challenges of photographing jewelry).

They hang from sterling lever back ear wires, with twisted silver holding in place jet Czech glass flowers, with small 3mm clear AB Swarovski bicone crystals above and below. From there, the teardrop beads hang from more silver wire, and are stabilized by some lovely headpins. These headpins are sterling, but at the bottom, instead of being flat or having a silver ball end, they have a tiny, faceted jet crystal held in place with prongs. You can kind of see that in some of the photos, but we don't have any that truly focus on them. They are subtle, but a nice touch. The earrings are 2 5/8" long, in total, including the ear wires. Would be fabulously appropriate for holiday evenings out.

Your jewelry will arrive in a glossy black box with an Adorn Me jewelry label outside and a folded burgundy-colored note inside, written in silver metallic ink on nice card stock. If your purchase is a gift for someone, you can send us a message at Etsy and tell us what you would like hand-written on the card. This is then boxed and wrapped up in a sparkly silver ribbon, all ready for gift-giving! If you prefer we can leave the ribbon untied, so you can peek inside to see the gift you're giving and then tie the ribbon yourself, just include that in your message. :)

You can see larger photos of, and read more about, these earrings by going to Adorn Me jewelry's store at Etsy.

Snow Princess - Modern Simplicity - Huge faceted Rock Crystal Quartz Necklace

Just a note: This big rock is clear; the green/aqua you're seeing in it is some of the facets picking up the colors of the studio walls. :)

The size of this stone defies description. It is huge and showy, yet simple in its design, so that it defines elegant, Modern simplicity. It would be well at home with red velvet. It would be equally at home, and slightly surprising (which I like!) with jeans, a white t-shirt, boots and a leather jacket.

The lovely stone hangs from an sparkling Italian sterling silver Giotto Chain, with each round ring being 3.5 mm in diameter. It's about 18" long (as you know, I'm willing to make it larger, if needed, though this is pricey chain, so it will be an extra $1.25 for each extra inch), and the pendant width is a fantastic 2" from side to side. The exact measurements are 38x28x18mm (25mm = 1 inch). It is finished off at the end with a sterling silver sweetheart toggle and a smooth, tiny 10x5mm Vintage Czech glass teardrop wrapped in silver wire. This beautiful piece of quartz crystal has, as they often do, some lovely little inclusions and areas that show it's actually rock, and not a piece of glass. They're very small, though. Some, like me, love inclusions, others do not, so I figured I'd let you know they're there, and you can see them here and there when you expand the photos to their full size.

Vintage Brass Calla Lillies

These simple yet elegantly beautiful vintage brass calla lily findings meld perfectly with the Czech glass lily beads also found in the post below. Here, not only do the colors glow all on their own, but light from them refract and reflect off of the brass lilies. Within each glass lily is a small, similarly-colored Czech glass flower; within that, a clear, tiny little 3mm AB Swarovski crystal. They are held together with brass ball-end head pins and are on brass lever back ear wires, and designed to face forward and not hang down.

They are elegant, glowing bits of vintage beauty, and a steal at $19.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. You can purchase them by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

The Grape Fizz Necklace.

First: these beads are not pink. They, due to crappy camera syndrome, look pink. They are more of a blueish lavender. Sorry for any confusion...
This necklace is an Adorn Me jewelry one of a kind (OOAK) creation. It was named Grape Fizz, because there are various kinds of purples through it, and the lavender milk stone kind of glows, and depending upon the kind and amount of light, it almost looks a little blue (in spite of how it looks quite pinkish in these photos -- the pink is not true). This necklace is a little magical.

Found in Botswana, Africa, Botswana Agate is a rather hard gemstone. It is composed of banded Chalcedony (which gives it some of its glow).

The pendant itself is 1 7/8" long, and is also comprised of two amethysts and sterling silver. It hangs from a semi-woven necklace made of various iridescent Czech glass beads, milky lavender glass beads, mauve iridescent freshwater pearls, hematite seed beads and a nice hand-wrought silver heart charm (with pearl and glass) near the 'S' closure.

I know the challenges of accurately photographing jewelry without an obscenely expensive photo studio, and so often I see someone say how a piece of jewelry they've photographed just cannot be done justice. I often nod my head, because I know it's sometimes true. So I'll just say about this necklace that none of these photos do it justice.

The necklace is 22 1/4" long, and an decorative extension chain could be made for it, if needed.

Supposedly, according to those who keep track of such things, Eye Agate, or Botswana Agate, enhances sexual energy by giving physical stamina. Guess it can't hurt, anyway. This necklace is priced at $123.00. Matching earrings can be made, if you so desire.

Lots of sexy quartz.

Eve, The Seductress
First, take a big, juicy faceted asymmetrical ruby quartz stone and then place it above a long, lovely crystal quartz stick, all held together with sterling wire. The ruby quartz stones are a beautiful fresh blood red, and for those who might be inclined to describe jewelry as sexy (my sweetie kind of laughed when I said they were sexy -- some people just don't get it...), these earrings are. Partly it's the ruby quartz, its color and glow. But also it's the smooth drip of the crystal quartz sticks, lovely inclusions sparkling n the light. The mix of textures and shapes really make these a captivating pair of earrings.

As mentioned, the sticks are full of lovely inclusions. I can appreciate AAA-quality stones, that's for sure. There's something about the flawlessness that can be captivating. But really, in some ways I love the flawed ones even more, because they catch the light differently, and remind us that yes, these are real stones, with real imperfections, not imitation. These earrings are 2 1/4" long at the drop and their price: $22.50. And yes, they are sexy. Very sexy. :)

The Little Black Dress
This next pair are very much like the previous pair, except they are made from faceted, asymmetrical jet black quartz. Another difference is that the quartz crystals on these are a bit shorter, for an overall shorter earring at 2" from the drop. The black facets, smooth crystal sticks and shiny sterling silver all lend a nice glimmer and glow.

These earrings have the same sexy quotient, and with elegance to boot. Definitely the perfect earrings to wear with that little black dress. This pair also sells for $22.50.

Bubble Gum
This tiny, little pair of rose quartz and pink and blue Czech glass earrings remind me of my teen years in their colors and freshness. I didn't alter this photo to make the earrings glow; they just glow all on their own, in the light.

The focal stones are 6mm pale rose quartz coin disc beads, with lots of lovely inclusions. They are snuggled in with frosted baby blue and iridescent pink Czech beads. The length of the earrings are exactly 1" at the drop. Cute, swingy little things. And very affordable at $8.50.

Swag
I adore swingy, swaggy earrings, and especially on people with short hair, where the earrings hang down and swig around hypnotically. I particularly like it when it's earrings that pick up the light like these purple-y lavender lampwork and Czech glass earrings do.

All metal is sterling silver, of course, including the chain. The beads used are pearlized large, and bi-color seed (purple center, blue outside), Czech glass. These are used at the top of the earrings, and then also to surround the luminescent lampwork glass earrings made with purple and lavender center and outside, with light pink-lavender swirls and polka dots. They measure 2 1/8" at the drop and sell for $16.50.
