Custom Design - Masai Mara

This piece is named " Masai Mara," because the gorgeous Picture Rhodonite focal bead has a scenic landscape that reminds me of the beautiful Masai Mara reserve in Africa.

Our client wanted a double necklace, with a pendant on the lower strand, using pink and brown. When I found this spectacular bead I knew it was for her, and I knew it would be the perfect foundation upon which her beautiful one of a kind necklace would be crafted.

The stones used in the creation of Masai Mara are rose quartz nuggets, tiger's eye nuggets, smoky topaz glass, rhodonite rondelles, a few rhodonite nuggets, and a whole lot of tiny sterling silver round beads. It features a beautiful antiqued silver toggle and a drop made from a rose quartz nugget, a rhodonite nugget and a stamped silver tag that reads "hope.'

If you are interested in something like it, drop us a line using the contact form at: www.adornmejewelry.net. I'll never be able to find another focal bead just like it, but the other elements can be used, along with a different rhodonite focal bead.

Custom Design - An Abundant Goddess.

Our client fell in love with the Abundant Goddes Venus series necklaces and wanted one of her own, so Adorn Me happily obliged, and made a matching pair of earrings, as well.

The goddess focal bead hangs from a hand-crafted sterling silver bail. It is a black agate, with a few striations in white, gray and brown. She wears a sterling silver wire belly bracelet adorned with hematite seed beads and small laboradite rondelles.

The necklace itself is made of black glass coin disk beads, clear glass diamond-shaped beads, poppy jasper round stones, and more of the laboradite and hematite beads interspersed throughout.

The earrings include all of the elements of the necklace but the pendant, and complete the set nicely.

Custom Design - Beach Baby

This necklace/bracelet set is named Beach Baby, because it so evokes the sea and all things beach, from the colors to the stones, from the silver dolphin beads, to the pearls, which come from the ocean. It was commissioned by a client who loves the beach, who loves dolphins, and who wanted a bit of that feel to wear as jewelry.

The necklace and bracelet use basically the same findings: nuggets of apatite (the teal-colored stones) and amazonite (all the rest; amazonite naturally has a color range of blues, greens, whites and browns), sky blue and silver Czech beads, rice fresh water pearls, nautical-themed Bali silver toggles, and three types of dolphins in sterling silver. The neckace has a larger, curled dolphin and two tiny jumping dolphins, as in the detail photo.

The bracelet has a sterling dolphin puff focal bead, and they each have little drops made of the tiny jumping dolphins and Czech glass beads.

What a pleasure it was to create this set -- both the creation and the interaction with our client.

Love Notes

I call these earrings "Love Notes," because that's what they are.
These 'post cards' were made from vintage tooling, stamped in brass, then plated in antiqued silver. The post cards themselves measure 1" X 3/4" and are adorned with tiny, multi-color Czech glass flowers and tiny 3mm clear AB swarovski crystals. They hang from brass lever back ear wires.

Our Love Notes earrings would make a very sweet gift for someone you love.

These sweet declarations of love and adoration are 1 7/8" in length and fetch $15.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee, and can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Vintage Brass Calla Lillies

These simple yet elegantly beautiful vintage brass calla lily findings meld perfectly with the Czech glass lily beads also found in the post below. Here, not only do the colors glow all on their own, but light from them refract and reflect off of the brass lilies. Within each glass lily is a small, similarly-colored Czech glass flower; within that, a clear, tiny little 3mm AB Swarovski crystal. They are held together with brass ball-end head pins and are on brass lever back ear wires, and designed to face forward and not hang down.

They are elegant, glowing bits of vintage beauty, and a steal at $19.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. You can purchase them by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Surreal Garden

When it comes to color, these earrings have it all. They are made using the same design as our Bluebells earrings, but the Czech glass flowers are of a different style and colors.

These use the same large brass kidney ear wires, the same brass head pins, but these glass lily beads have a different sort of a look. Their color is hard to define, and it totally depends upon the light, and whether they're back-lit or not. In any case, they are definitely luminescent. You'll find red, green, blue, purple, pink, gold -- most colors of the spectrum -- in there. Because of that, they will compliment pretty much any outfit. They are finished off with sparkly little 4mm violet Swarovski crystals.

These glowing, iridescent earrings are 2" in length and fetch $16.50, plus a reasonable shipping fee, and can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Garden Earrings

These Garden earrings are made using lovely little frosted Czech glass flowers, hanging above dual-tone Czech glass leaves, and below little Czech glass beads hanging on the ear wire.

Pleasantly swingy, they are not at all heavy earrings -- quite light, actually, and can be made in any of the colors shown. Just let me know which one/s you like.

At 3" long on the large kidney wires, they are nice and long, but for those of you who prefer shorter earrings, they can be put on lever back wires, if you like, which would shorten them by just over an inch.
The photo of them with a quarter gives a sense of scale (Canadian quarters are the same size as American quarters). They are just over 1 1/4" long, including the ear wires, and they sell for $17.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Mod Flowers

These cute, kicky little flower earrings bring out the girl in me and are a total (and temporary) departure from Adorn Me's usual style. They're about fun, flirting, youth, and holding on to the last days of summer.

They are made of vibrant plastic, using brass findings, and Czech glass beads, both above the flowers and also right on the ear wires themselves (a few extra beads will be included with your order, just in case you need replacements.

The earrings on lever back wires measure 1 3/4" and the ones on large kidney wires are 2 1/2", and you can choose which kind of wires you like, as they can easily be changed out for you.

Buy them to celebrate the girl in your life, even if it's you!

Included is a photo of them with a quarter, for a sense of scale(Canadian quarters are the same size as American quarters). Each pair sells for $14.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Revolution Earrings

Take some sterling findings, including some fine silver Giotto Brillo chain, mix it together with pinky peach keishi petal pearls, simplicity-cut swarovski crystals and then palest pink faceted rose quartz rondelles spinning on a silver axle and you've got Revolution earrings.

This pair measures out to be 1 7/8" long and sell for $28.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Then, you have a variation on the theme, which includes AB bicone swarovskis and rose quartz nuggets. For whatever reason, I couldn't get really true colors on either of these pair of earrings. In the previous pair, the petal pearls are pinker and more pale than the photo represents; with this pair, that photo shows them as being kind of an pale apricot color, but they're not. They are best represented, color-wise by the third photo, as they are palest baby pink.

This pair measures 1 5/8" long, including the ear wires.

They sell for $27.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Art Nouveau Tulips with Cobalt Glass Flowers

These brass Art Nouveau tulips have been a very popular item, and I've been wanting to incorporate one of my favorite colors into a pair of tulip earrings, so here they are.

These earrings pair cobalt Czech glass bell flowers with deep blue baby bell flowers, and are finished at the end with small bronze Czech glass fire-polished a lovely gold. All of the findings are brass, and they come with lever back earrings, though they could also be put on brass hoops or large kidney wires, if you like. They look like they'd be heavy, but they're not, and they make a tinkling noise, so if you like that, they're for you. If not, they're not.

They are 3 1/8" long, and sell for $27.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

La Boheme

This pair of earrings are a striking, bohemian mixture of color, shape and texture.
The metal James used is copper, and the ear wires are hand made and have lovely rosy copper ball tips.

At the top are beautiful 10mm Czech glass squares with a colorful Picasso finish, as well as a nice brush texture. They look somewhat subdued until you get them into the light.

Next are premium quality faceted slab-cut Czech beads, 8.5mm in size. They have shades of crimson red and deep orange within them; top and bottom is a Picasso effect to give the appearance of age.

At the bottom are 18mm rectangular purple and orange crazy lace agates. These stones range from opaque to slightly transparent, and they pick up the light nicely. They all combine to make an eclectic, artsy pair of earrings, and would look great with a flowing, Bohemian, outfit. They are 2" long, and sell for $19.50, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Mini Pumpkins

These two pair of earrings, designed and crafted by James, are just alike, except for one element: on one pair the swarovski crystal bead separators have pink AB crystals, and on the other pair they are blue AB crystals. First the blue.

They hang from large, brass kidney wires (the wires themselves are 1 1/4") and are hanging on brass ball headpins.

Top and bottom they have 3mm AB clear swarovski bicone crystals, then from the top are 6mm light pink swarovski pearls, then the bead separators, and then the faceted pumpkin Czech glass rondelle beads. As you can see, these beads have lovely striations in varying shades of orange, yellow and clear. The tops and bottoms of the beads have a picasso treatment, which you can see has a rainbow of colors, and gives the lovely appearance of age.

The total length of these earrings, including ear wires are 2 1/4". The pink earrings are the same length as the blue.

Each pair sells for $15.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form located at www.adornmejewelry.net.

More Gifts of Love, in brass

These earrings use lovely little brass swallows like the previous pair -- the same size, etc -- only these are antiqued brass, rather than silver plated. They hang from brass lever back ear wires, and brass wire and headpins hold them together. The pearls are freshwater coin pearls, only in a peachy champagne color that interacts beautifully with the brass.
This graceful pair are just over 2 1/8" long, including the ear wires, and they sell for $25.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Bali Belles

These striking, red carnelian stones really have a great deep red-orange glow. The large (12mm) rounds look lovely with heavily antiqued Bali silver bead caps on top. They're very swingy and feel substantial, but not too heavy.

They are hanging from sterling silver ear wires and are held up by sterling, beaded headpins.

This photo of them with a quarter gives a sense of scale (Canadian quarters are the same size as American quarters). They are just over 1 1/4" long, including the ear wires, and they sell for $20.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

More Gifts of Love - The Freshwater Coin Version

Pretty little swallows bringing good fortune, and bearing luminous gifts of love.
One of my favorite findings, these little antiqued silver over brass swallows are so graceful in design.

The last pair posted here, in July, were raw brass, and they had a bundle of gems hanging from the birds' beaks. This pair is a bit simpler in design, with these lustrous freshwater coin pearls as the 'gifts.' The headpins and earwires are Sterling Silver.

Here's a photo of them with a quarter, for a sense of scale (Canadian quarters are the same size as American quarters). They are almost 2" in length, including the ear wires, and they sell for $32.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Amanda -- Freshwater Pearl Coin Earrings

I've loved pearls ever since receiving my first pearl earrings at 10 years old. Their glowing luster makes me "oooh" and "aaaah" inside. I have many kinds of pearls just waiting to be part of a design, but lately I've been enjoying the coins.

These Amanda earrings were created for a lovely young woman; they are, in some ways, very much like she is: bright, pretty, petite and round.

These earrings are simple in design, but elegant, and they will compliment most any outfit. They were hand-crafted using Sterling Silver ear wires and headpins.

Here's a photo of them with a quarter, for a sense of scale (Canadian quarters are the same size as American quarters). They are just over 1 1/4" long, including the ear wires, and they sell for $26.00, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Cinderella's Coach

Silly name, yes, but whenever I see these pumpkin Czech glass beads I think of pumpkins, and with all of the pink involved, it seems appropriate.

These lovely, original earrings were designed and crafted by James. In the middle is Czech glass with bronze tops and bottoms, held on each side by little Czech glass flowers with pink and gold iridescence. Next are little fire-polished Czech beads that sparkle and glow. At each end, pink Swarovski pearls.

In person, these look very sparkly and girlie, and with all the pinks and golds, regal. They are 2 1/4" long and are held together with copper bead headpins and copper ear wires.

These dressy little numbers sell for $17.50, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

An Eclectic Mix

These earrings are an eclectic mix of colors, textures and styles, but they work. Starting in the middle are fantastic Czech glass beads with great colors and glow. Working the way out are little coppery tulip flower beads, then AB Tanzanite Swarovskis, and finished off with dark gray Swarovski pearls. They were hand made by James with copper findings and hand-made rosey copper ear wires. They are 2" long, from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the beaded headpin.

I think because of the mix of colors and styles these earrings truly can dress up or down -- jeans or velvet, or jeans and velvet!

This Eclectic Mix of beauty sells for $16.50, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Fountainhead

These earrings, designed and crafted by James, are a wonderful mix of shape and texture, while remaining in the green family.

At the top are little mint julep fire-polished Czech glass beads, which blend into light greenCzech glass bell flowers. They sit atop inverted soft green Czech glass flower caps. Beneath are lovely teal 8mm swarovski bicone crystals, cradled by inverted deep turquoise Picasso Czech glass three-petal lilies. The photos don't really show the lovely reddish rust markings these beads have. At the bottom are 4mm Peridot swarovski crystals. All of this is held together by brass findings. The ear wire are brass lever backs.

These lovelies are just over 2 " long, including the ear wire, and they sell for $14.50, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.

Aqua Blitz

These earrings are an blitz of aquas and greens, designed and hand-crafted by James. They are an eclectic mix of different shapes and variety of beads, strung on copper wire and dangling from rosy copper handmade ear wires.

At the top are oval blue malachite stones, unusual and lovely. Supporting the blue malachite are soft green Czech glass flower caps, above Mint Alabaster swarovski bicone crystals. Below are turquoise rondelles, with a bit of matrix in them; the earrings are finished off with blue Crazy Lace Agate rondelles.

These lovelies are 2 1/8" long, including the ear wire, and they sell for $15.50, plus a reasonable shipping fee. They can be purchased by using the contact form at www.adornmejewelry.net.
